Attendance Fact: Students who miss two or more days during the first month of school are significantly more likely to become chronically absent by the end of the school year.

V - Values - How we think, act, and what we truly care about

W - Wellness - Having a healthy mind and body

X- eXample - A model that should be either copied or avoided

How you can help:

V -Model by staying true to your values; teach during real life situations; discuss family values and make a poster to remind them

W- Make sure children get enough sleep for their age; include physical activities in your family time; have your child play in the sunshine every day

X- Let your child know that how they treat others and the things they do matter to you; treat your child with respect
